Join us for a girls weekend away with a sporty theme! Our womens cycle training retreats are based on our own secluded ranch in stunning Jindabyne, giving access to some of the best road riding the mountains have to offer, and optional recovery swims in the cool waters of Lake Jindy. Our retreats provide an environment that is both supportive and challenging.

This training camp is unlike any other you may have been on before as you immerse yourself in Karmea’s method of integrated training.  With a big focus on healthy eating, balanced working in sessions, and all from the comfort of your very own Karmea house. Grab your besties, pack your lycra, tune your bike, and let our experienced coaches show you around one of our favourite playgrounds.

The weekend will be suitable for intermediate and improver level cyclists or triathletes. Different distance options are catered for over the duration of the retreat to allow you to tailor your training. This camp is perfect for those who enjoy riding longer, but equally suited to those that just love to ride in beautiful country.

 

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL =  $597 (usual price $650)

The 4 day, 3 night retreat will include:

  • Rides on iconic roads to Charlottes Pass and Thredbo valley. A and B routes will be offered to cater for varying rider abilities.
  • Optional open water swims in Lake Jindabyne.
  • Daily stretching and foam roller sessions.
  • Recovery 45min massage
  • All sessions are guided by your qualified and experienced Karmea coaches.
  • 3 nights accommodation in a well appointed house in Jindabyne based on twin or double share.
  • Breakfast and dinner are catered to leave lunches open for you to enjoy at your leisure around training sessions.
  • Goodie bags for all guests.

The retreat will be limited to 10 people.

Typical retreat itinerary:

DAY 1

  • Arrival, Lunch and briefing
  • 40km group assessment ride
  • Open water swim
  • Stretch session

DAY 2

  • 70-100km alpine ride – Options for A and B distance
  • Lunch
  • Lakeside hike
  • Stretch session

DAY 3

  • 80- 100km alpine ride – Options to add on for A and B distance
  • Lunch
  • Lake recovery swim
  • Massage
  • Stretch session

DAY 4

  • 60km alpine ride
  • One last lake swim
  • Weekend debrief and head for home

Free time will be allocated each day for plenty of recovery time.
