Triathlon and Cycle Coach

Phoebe joins the Karmea coaching family as a trainee triathlon and cycle coach. With a mountain of race experience, and on the receiving end of some of the best coaching in the business as an athlete, Phoebe is currently making a big change in her life from corporate to coaching.

From a sporting background of touch football and surfboat rowing, Phoebe Fear began competing in triathlon around 5 years ago after the birth of her children. She has competed at local, interstate and global races in Club, Sprint, Olympic, Half Ironman and Full Ironman distances. Her race results stand testament to how far you can come through dedication, hard work and just a little bit of natural talent in 3 sports! 🙂   She is as adept at short course racing as she is long, and this knowledge is invaluable to those she coaches.

Her interest in running and triathlon is broader than her own racing. She is now expanding her passion by working and coaching in the industry. “I also want to encourage people to be healthy and perform at their best utilising a wholistic approach encompassing specific training, nutrition, strength & conditioning, flexibility and mental resilience.”

Life for Phoebe also includes work, and her family (husband, 2 young boys and a dog) to keep her busy. To relax she enjoys reading, yoga and a nice glass of wine!
