High Intensity Turbo Sessions

Karmea’s Cycling classes, help you get the most out of your time on the bike and improve your performance. These high intensity indoor bike training sessions are geared towards making you stronger, faster and more efficient in the saddle.

Designed and coached by experienced cyclists, these 12 week progressive programmes work on your strength, endurance, speed and aerobic fitness. During the sessions there will be constant feedback on your technique, cadence and effort.

Experience the added benefit of training on your own bike, the motivation of a group of like minded people and an experienced coach, push yourself to ride at high intensity in the safety of a studio without traffic lights or cars, forget worrying about the weather or what session to do. Research shows that 60mins off highly focussed effort on the turbo is worth double on the road.

The best thing about these group rides is no one gets left behind! They cater for all abilities from beginner to seasoned rider. Classes take place at our partner facility Joe’s Basecamp in Brookvale, and are limited to 10 people to ensure you get the maximum attention from your coach and the most from each session. No hiding in the bunch here!

 

SESSION TIMES  – TUESDAY & THURSDAY 5:30-6:30am

 

WHAT TO BRING

  • your bike (clean please!)
  • water bottles 2 preferred (1 with electrolytes for harder sessions or you sweaty types!)
  • a large towel for under your bike
  • a small towel to mop your sweaty brow
  • bike shoes
  • comfortable shorts (trishorts are perfect)
  • heart rate monitor& cadence sensor are recommended for to get the most from these sessions
