High Intensity Turbo Sessions
Karmea’s Indoor Cycling classes on North Head in Manly, help you get the most out of your time on the bike and improve your performance. These high intensity indoor bike training sessions are geared towards making you stronger, faster and more efficient in the saddle.
Designed and coached by experienced cyclists, Turbo X Cycle sessions combine targeted bike work with suspension core training to ensure you are strong from the inside out. During the sessions there will be constant feedback on your technique, cadence and effort.
Experience the added benefit of training on your own bike, the motivation of a group of like minded people and an experienced coach, push yourself to ride at high intensity in the safety of a studio without traffic lights or cars, forget worrying about the weather or what session to do. Research shows that 60mins off highly focussed effort on the turbo is worth double on the road.
The best thing about these group rides is no one gets left behind! They cater for all abilities from beginner to seasoned rider. Classes at our studio in Manly are limited to 10 people to ensure you get the maximum attention from your coach and the most from each session. No hiding in the bunch here!
Our 90min Endurance Brick tandems your cycling with running intervals to maximise your training and build endurance and stamina. These sessions are perfect for triathletes of all levels and those seeking a challenging session to increase their overall fitness.
STRENGTH – Wednesday 6:00-7:00am
Hill simulation sessions geared towards building leg strength both in and out of the saddle. These sessions are perfect for any rider who wants to increase their climbing ability and see performance and speed increase over flatter terrain. The final 15mins of the session is dedicated to suspension core work and targeted stretching.
ENDURANCE – Friday 6:00-7:00am
Endurance sessions are for geared around longer intensity and tempo paced intervals. These sessions will improve your lactate threshold ensuring you can maintain your chosen pace for longer. The final 15mins of the session is dedicated to suspension core work and targeted stretching.
PERFORMANCE SQUAD – Tuesday 6:30-8:00pm & Thursday 7:00-8:00pm, 9:30am-10:30am
Performance focused indoor trainer sessions designed to optimise your potential for your event. Sessions are tailored to individual ability, encouraging all levels to learn and develop from a performance squad experience. Designed to improve various components of fitness our performance squad classes including strength endurance, aerobic & anaerobic threshold, lactate tolerance, speed, power and race pace.
BRICK – Saturday 6:00-7:30am
Maximise your training time by building running intervals into your bike training. Brick sessions are an essential part of any triathletes training regime and are brilliant for anyone looking for a challenging session that will build stamina, endurance and overall fitness. The final 10mins of the session is dedicated to suspension core work and targeted stretching.
