Why is Insurance recommended?

All of our coaches are qualified and insured to lead you on your daily rides and training sessions. We do highly recommend you take out personal insurance via Cycling Australia, Triathlon Australia, or Bicycle Network. This covers you should anything unfortunate happen while  for riding on the open roads and training. As coaches we have our own personal insurance for riding with Cycling Australia, we just wouldn’t ride without it.

What level of cyclist or athletes should I be? Should I train for the camps?

We grade our camps by difficulty and distance. So ensure you pick the one that is right for you so that you can get the most from your time with us.   Each retreat has a minimum distance level as a guide in the details. If you have any questions, then please let us know and we will guide you to the correct one for you.

I’m attending alone and would like a room on my own, is this ok?

Yes of course, we understand the need to kick back in your own space. We charge a single supplement to cover the costs as it means one less client at the retreat.

I’d like to come with my partner but they aren’t into cycling, can I bring them?

Yes we would love to welcome them. Please talk to us about residential rates for family. We can also advise them on other great activities to do in the area while we take you away on training rides.

What is the weather likely to be like?

The Snowy Mountains can be unpredictable so we recommend packing for all eventualities. Please refer to our ‘What to Bring’ list on this FAQ sheet.
